So when is the best time to sign up for Pet Health Insurance?
It’s safest to do so as soon as you bring home that new puppy or kitten. This way you are able to cover congenital and hereditary conditions that have not yet been diagnosed in your puppy or kitten. During the first year of a dog or cat’s life is when veterinarians can best discover and treat problems like allergies, heart problems, hip problems, and more.
Travel Insurance for your pet
Travelling with your pet can be a fun experience, but taking a dog or cat on vacation requires some additional planning than travelling with your human family members.Whether you are travelling by plane or going on a road trip, Petsecure pet health insurance can give you the confidence of knowing that you’re prepared for the unexpected.
This coverage is valid only in Canada, or while travelling on vacation in the continental United States of America. All claims that are received in U.S. funds will be adjusted in Canadian funds with no exchange (for example: $500.00 US= $500.00 CDN). This is due to the fact that Policy premiums are calculated based on Canadian veterinary fees and are paid with Canadian dollars.
Pet Travel Insurance is built into each plan and cannot be purchased separately.
