Stay Healthy via Virtual Paramed Services: A safe alternative when physical distancing is required

In these very challenging times that we are all experiencing due to the onset of COVID-19, it’s especially important to ensure that we are all making every effort to maintain our health. And what better way to maintain your health than by accessing your Employer Benefit Plan?!  Most Benefit Plans, whether they be a Traditional style plan or a Health Spending Account plan, allow for eligible expenditures referred to as Paramedicals, to be submitted for reimbursement based on the parameters of the plan.  Paramedicals include the use of a number of defined practitioners to better the health and well-being of you and your dependents.  Many people choose to be pro-active with their health and others need to access services when they require re-active support, but either way,  Paramedical Services can be of real value in the creation and then maintenance of Good Health.

In pre-COVID-19 times, the majority of Paramedical services were accessed via  personal visits…but with “physical distancing” being the mandate at this time, personal visits to these practitioners is not possible.  The GREAT NEWS is some paramedical providers offer services virtually!  And Health Risk Services accepts claims for the following providers of virtual services:

Note: All submitted claims MUST be accompanied by receipts..
